FAQ

Q)  Can YourDocs© integrate with our current knowledge base or Library?
A)  Yes, The YourDocs© Subscription is a monitored point-of-entry gateway that gives you full control of how and by whom your information is accessed.  The gateway maintains the security of any documents, web links, presentations, training programs, etc., that you have chosen to share.  Quite literally, any content can be placed behind your gate*. (*16MB per file maximum)

Q)  Are we required to put our content on your server?
A)  No. With the YourDocs© Service you can chose to share only links to content stored on other servers, if you prefer.

Q)  Can we manage requests for quotes and credentialing information through YourDocs©?
A)  Absolutely. YourDocs© is a prudent way to manage trade secret, pricing, or other sensitive information while holding the recipient of your information accountable for it’s use.

Q)  Can I use YourDocs© to address security issues pertaining to insecure emails?
A)  Yes. Instead of sending documents or links via insecure emails, you can post this information behind the YourDocs© Gateway and track receipt and acceptance of your terms and agreements. (See Sales and Marketing Benefits)

Q)  Is the YourDocs©  Platform secure enough to confidentially share sensitive information with a single recipient for one-time access (e.g., credentialing, supply agreements, new vendor account set up)?
A)  Yes. Not only does the YourDocs©  subscriber control who has access to information, they control how long access is provided to the requester, what information the requester has access to, and how long the requester has access to individual documents/links.  Additionally, all aspects of requester credentialing can be changed or renewed in real time.

Q)  How secure is the encryption standard for YourDocs©?
A)  All access to YourDocs© is encrypted through a GlobalSign SSL certificate utilizing SGC technology. SGC technology forces a weaker 40 bit SSL session to at least 128 bit, and, in most cases, 256 bit. These 128-256 bit SSL sessions are stronger by orders of magnitude than 40 bit and allow all site visitors, no matter where they are in the world, to benefit from stronger encryption levels.
